my top 5 fave raleigh coffee shops
I may be biased, but have also heard from many people, that NC’s coffee scene is one of the best and I would have to agree! In this post I’m sharing my top 5 favorite coffee shops in Raleigh but would also love to know your favorites!
Soooo *drumroll please* here are my TOP 5 FAVORITE Coffee Shops in Raleigh:
Iris Coffee Lab
#1. Iris Coffee Lab
⚲ 725 Tucker St
Raleigh, NC 27603
Iris has vibes for daaayyyssss. It is a welcoming, industrial atmosphere serving up unique, creative and inspiring drinks along with an amazing menu of bagels, toasts and sandwiches from 9am-2pm for breakfast and lunch.
Heirloom Coffee
#2. Heirloom Coffee
⚲ 219 S West St
Raleigh, NC 27603
Heirloom is a beautiful, specialty coffee shop and tea house by day and a Laotian, Taiwanese restaurant by night! I’ve always loved the bright, natural light brought in by the large windows and light pine details. Such a peaceful spot!
#3. Idle Hour
⚲ 1818 Oberlin Rd #103
Raleigh, NC 27608
Idle Hour
I love Idle Hour’s laid back, neighborhood feel. They have a changing menu of seasonal drinks as well as classics made with house-made syrups & a variety of teas! They also serve Tepuy Donuts & a beautiful case of specialty desserts.
They have a spacious shop with plenty of seating for meeting friends or working remote!
#4. SOLA
⚲ 7705 Lead Mine Rd
Raleigh, NC 27615
Sola is a cafe and gathering space in Raleigh that serves delicious breakfast and lunch and (of course!) amazing, specialty drinks.
Boulted Bread
#5. Boulted Bread
⚲ 328 Dupont Circle
Raleigh, NC 27603
Boulted is mainly an (amazing!) bakery but don’t sleep on their cafe! They have great indoor seating and it’s a perfect spot to get a delicious pastry or loaf of bread and order a latte or cuppa tea and enjoy while reading a book or catching up with friends!
Which of these coffee shops do you frequent?! What is YOUR list of Raleigh’s top 5 coffee shops? I’d love to know :)
