the story behind
“a lovely expedition”
Raleigh, North Carolina has been my home since I was 8 yrs old after my family moved here from upstate NY. It’s been amazing to live in a place that has grown so quickly and watch my backyard become home to so many amazing, thriving local businesses! In 2022 I realized I wasn't taking full advantage of exploring all NC has to offer so I started checking spots off my ever-growing local bucket list. That same year I also began traveling more and started an instagram account to document my trips like a digital travel diary. My passion for photography also grew as I was seeing so many new, beautiful places which led me to purchase my first professional camera! And now we’re here!!
As you explore my website I hope you’re reminded that life is beautiful and adventure *really is* all around you. Whether you want to find a local gem or hop on a plane, I believe you can have just as much fun in your hometown as you can hundreds of miles away.
